A-4 Night Shot

On a recent visit to Boston my husband and I spent the better part of a day trying to track down a particular spot to take a night shot photograph of the Boston skyline. I had done a search on 500px.com before we left to see what kind of shots others had taken in the places we would be visiting.

I saved a couple of the photos to my phone and as we explored the city I asked various people, waitress’ bartenders and a security guard if they knew the place. As dusk approached we finally spotted ‘Fan Pier’ from a horse drawn carriage ride we were on. We found our way back before the sun set and spent about an hour or so just sitting and watching the sun go down and the city lights coming on.

I love the memory attached to the photo because of how hard my husband and I worked together to find the location…

47. Summer Fun

Yesterday I had a lot of fun photographing my niece and her family at the beach while they were in town visiting. I think this photo in particular captures the fun they were having as well!

37. Seeing Clearly

My friend Ida is here visiting me from Panama. We played dress up like 5 year olds today in the studio. I thought this photo would be fun for my “Seeing Clearly” theme!

41. Crossing The Line

Today I photographed a friends children for a family Christmas card. It was a fun filled and fast moving hour or so!  Every time I look at this photo it makes me smile. Clearly this big sister thought her little brother was “Crossing The Line!”

11. It’s Big

In just a few short weeks I will be a Grandmother for the 4th time… It doesn’t seem like very long ago that I was posting a photo using the WOW! theme of the first ultrasound photo.

At least for today the attention was shifted to my daughter. She helped me test the lighting in my new studio by posing for a few shots. I really like this one and thought it might be fun to use it for my “It’s Big” theme.
